I think elitism has hurt our party in the past. What can I say? I'm an asshole at heart, and I just can't resist sometimes.

Ultimately, we need to reach people who watch Walker Texas Ranger and Mama's Family, buy Thomas Kinkaide christmas coloring books, etc.. They may have bad taste, but we need them! And many of them end up going to the other side, against their own interests, because we make them feel like that is where they belong.
