it's unfortunate that you didn't notice what you'd be missing out by doing so... but they were only doing that to offer a cheap alternative. The full-price option was available... I had to spend a few minutes explaining it to my sis as she was doing it, so she fortunately avoided this problem.

I'm really sincerely sorry you missed that detail. It does suck. Really. :hug:
