Brings back sentimental memories of the time my dog went a bit nuts on a canoe trip and started chasing a cow, which was surprisingly fast

Looks like a nice place to live.

Cows are surprisingly fast...as I found out when I wandered into a high-Sierra grazing meadow on a fishing trip a few years back.

The old bull thought I might be there to mess with his girls...I don't think I could run that fast nowadays...

That "cow" was actually designed and erected as part of a dispute over property use in Yountville, CA., about 5 or 6 years ago.

11. When I was growing up we had Jersey cows much like the one

in this picture.



They were very sweet natured and we made pets out of them. Jersey's give the richest milk. It took me a long time to get used to the taste of milk out of the store. It just didn't taste right.

I was part of a $100,000.00 bathroom remodel for an obscenely rich person who shall remain nameless (yes...one hundred thousand dollar bathroom...) and part of the design incorporated a large wall of tiles from India depicting just thay type of scene. It was quite beautiful...I wish I had pictures...

I spent 30+ years in the painting/decorative painting trade; worked on some of the most expensive estates in the Napa Valley (mostly new construction, 9,000 sq. ft and up) and while I met people whose sense of peace and joy came from within, I also met people whose lack of inner peace was obvious, despite their profusion of wealth.

Money makes life easier, but it doesn't necessarily bring any sense of fulfillment.

If any contractor quotes you a $100,000 dollar estimate for yer bathroom, you just mail me the specs...

...unless, of course, you are going with hand-woven French brocades, quartersawn lacewood floors (with under-floor-heating), artisan-crafted tub windows, and real frescoe walls...in that case, all bets are off... :D
