Has anyone ever seen the movie "The Sweet smell of success"? i have a question about it.
i missed about the first 25 minutes of it so my question is about the relationship between JJ and his sister, was there something icky there or was he just over protective? please and thank you.

2. I've seen it a few times
including this afternoon. No, I don't think there was anything going on besides overprotectiveness between J.J. and his sister.

3. Although if there had been anything "icky" going on
a movie of that era would not have been able to say so explicitly.

It could be that J.J. has a repressed attraction to his sister, even if he hasn't acted on it.
