Movie: "Stardust" - Have you seen it?

A seriously good, I mean GOOD, fantasy movie.

Good lead characters, great supporting actors, good script and a good original story. Neil Gaiman scores again. By the way if you liked Stardust then maybe you should take a look at Neverwhere, a serial version of a Gaiman story.

1. I've only read the books...Stardust and Neverwhere...
I have the Neverwhere BBC series, haven't watched it all the way through yet. I love Neil.

4. The BBC series was better than I thought it would be.
Yes it was "low tech" but the story felt similar to the book and the characters were mostly (given the real world limitations...) the way I imagined them to be with a few deviations.

Still a fun 2 or 3 dvds.

2. Yes
In fact, I just got the DVD for Christmas. :toast:

Fun fact: the actors who played Tristan and Victoria were also in the movie Casanova, where they played brother and sister.

3. I thought it was O.K....
...but too artificial and predictable to be a great fantasy film.
