I HATE my running shoes
All the local places to buy my favorite brand stopped carrying them. I can get them online, but they never seem to go on sale online, and that means $100+ per pair.... so I settled on a different shoe.

I hate them.

sorry... that should be Hate w/ a capital "H" HATE them....

I guess I'll have to splurge on the shoes I want when the tax return comes....

1. what kind do you prefer?
I've always liked Asics, especially the 2010s.

But roadrunner is worth looking at, you can enter your personal info about what kind of running you do, and they will recommend a shoe for you.

3. my preferred brand is spira

the brand I'm wearing is asics.

I think after wearing a shoe w/ a spring, it's hard to wear a shoe that doesn't have a spring.

2. Have you checked onlineshoes.com?
zappos.com?

What kind of shoes are you looking for. I know a few other sites that have super-good deals on shoes and can look them up if you want.

6. The brand is Spira
Edited on Mon Jan-07-08 09:57 AM by MissMillie
the make is Genesis

the last time I bought them, I got them at the Dick's Sporting Goods store (I went to a store) and got 2 pair for $130.

Dick's no longer has them in their store, only online, and at $130/pair.

I did find them at AOL shopping for $70 pair, but only if for people who have a size 6.5 foot or smaller.

7. Did you get fitted at a specialty running store?
The best ones give free gait analysis. It's worth it!

9. I've got about 5,000 miles on Saucony's and I love em
I'm wearing them now. I don't run much anymore but they are very sturdy, comfortable and take a pounding very well. My wife used to wear Nikes but she switched to Saucony and she runs several days a week.

10. Good shoes are worth it
So little equipment required for running, that you really should spring for the good shoes. And I second that about getting fitted at a running store. Find the best one in your area.
