:9 Yum!

These days, you can't even drink it for under four dollars...

1. You paid for corn?
We just stole it from the farm next door.

Ah, the howling of the hounds...

The bang of the shotgun...

The smell of gunpowder...

Good times...

2. I'd rather pay for it.
Hoeing corn is backbreaking work. Sure, we could just walk out back and pick it but getting it to that point was a pain...everywhere.

5. Uh, corn is always outrageously expensive in the winter
But ya, you're right, stupid ethanol makes it outrageously expensive in the summer too.

7. ahhh, corn
Edited on Mon Jan-07-08 07:45 PM by Gilligan
I long for the days when I would curl up in bed with 3 or 4 hundred ears of corn and just roll around in it.... a bit scratchy but I sluffed off all that dry skin. I remember making all my clothes out of corn. I remember when we used to take the station-wagon loaded with kids and spend the day at CORNLAND. Those were the days.... Thanks for bringing back the sweet, sweet memories of corn.
