Is parking so much a problem in Philadelphia that a reality show is warranted?
There was a segment on NPR this morning about people taunting and bullying parking meter maids in Philly. And some time this week, a reality show will be launched.

What's the deal? What's so special about parking, or the lack of parking in Philadelphia?

2. I'm guessing the writer's strike
Oh well. At least it isn't another washed up celebrity's reality show. Or a never-really-was celebrity's reality show.

I was blessed with being able to work nights. Parking during the day is pure hell, nights is just a mild purgutory.

10. Parking at nights is horrible too if you're going downtown to party
You could search for street parking but that's nearly impossible in the residential places where everything is packed to the hilt and as tightly as possible. So intead you turn to parking lots & garages. Lots can be cheaper for the night (around $10-12) but many of those close around midnight which isn't going to suit your night of partying so you end up in the garages which can run a hefty $20-25/night.

Just not worth the hassle

11. I was mostly in chinatown, around race street
Working the 11pm-7am shift, I almost always got a spot infront of the building (verizon).
I also worked over by all the colleges, but it was summertime so there was not a whole lot of traffic.

Then I got the joy of working both the southside and the northside......whoooooooo that was an experiance. Very dangerous places to be on hot summer night, you get to see the best society has to offer. But at least parking was no problem.
