If we can see each other as reasonable, rational human beings, then it'll be easier to treat each other like reasonable, rational human beings instead of getting pissed off and insulting each other. :)

That, and I genuinely want to know what other people are thinking. And that's a lot easier to find if I don't have to weed through page after page of flames to get that information.
