Geez, you are going to be asleep the majority of the time while in the room. It might be worth it if they can promise you that there are no bed bugs.

I stayed at a place that had bed bugs one time. I had always thought thatthey were a joke,I found out I am one of the lucky people who has a severe reaction to them. over 100 golf ball size lumps hat itch like mad for 3 weeks was hell.

Now I always check the seams.

Is it too much to ask for a bug free bed if you are paying to stay at a hotel? Shouldn't they keep a close eye on their property to make sure they aren't infested?
