Off topic, but I got my original driver license in California when I was in high school.

I moved out of state in 1980, and when I moved back ten years later in 1990, they gave me my same DL number. Which was handy since I had it memorized for all those years.

In Germany, you get your driver license at age 18(once you took the test and passed) and you keep it till you die. So here is me at age 18


Now. Because last summer I needed a International dl, I had to get a new European dl first (talk about money making). So I have a new dl and this is the pic now

6th time at the DMV's the charm. (and no, I'm not exaggerating. Last time, time #5, I had everything I needed to get my liscense. It only took me four previous trips to the DMV and two months of getting paperwork done. And right before I got there... their computers went down.)

I love my driver's license photo because it is so ugly. It's from early summer 2005, an unhappy time. When I'm carded people often say, "Wow, you look.......... different."

3 days before I had to get my license renewed, I split my eyebrow open at work, and broke all blood vessels in my eye. If I give you my picture from it, it looks like I had the crap beaten out of me. Oddly enough, when I was there, they administered the eye test, and I failed, but they passed me anyways because they could see my quite obvious injury. A guy walking out of the DMV while I was on my way in asked if my girlfriend beat me up, I said "yeah". :)
