If so it's a film that I can miss. Thanks.

Edit: Perhaps not. There's always the chance that Spock will dive into the tank and do a mind-meld with it.

6. If you post that he single-handedly stops the monster, you'll blow it for those who haven't seen it.

7. Not, but if you closely at its legs, they spell 9/11.
Damn, I gave some of the plot away.

9. A squadron of F22 raptors could take that thing out lickety split
Even if they could not destroy it with conventional weapons they could just nuke the darn thing.

Not that I support the use of nukes in real life, but in movies and against monsters I see no issue with their use.

17. Wow! It really looks stupid
Sorry, but there's no way I'm going to be afraid of a monster that looks like that. It looks like it's smirking.

22. actually, that part I really like ...

A facial expression similar to George W. Bush, don't you think?

Plus, the sketch in the OP looks like the monster could be played by a guy in a suit. I have a soft spot for that kind of monster (as opposed to the all-animatronic or CGI kind). Yup, call me old-school.

18. That pic has been disproven already as being incorrect
Here's the best picture I can find that the Cloverfield community thinks is accurate.

19. I saw that
but the brief shot of the legs between the buildings looks more like the first shot posted.

However, I don't spend any time analyzing things compared to the LOST/Cloverfield followers

20. ARG's are fun and a neat distraction I think
I don't really get too worked up into them, but I like to go along for the ride with others.

People have seen Cloverfield, and the reviews generally give this kind of description for the monster, so I think its fairly accurate.
