No flickering, though.

Stay safe and warm you.

10. Not here either.
They are right by the house, so I would have heard.

I'm looking at the radar, and it doesn't look too serious...just a lot of rain and wind.

Is it safer in the basement?

Probably not as comfortable as your beautiful bedroom though...

Stay safe, sweetie...

Thunderstorm warning for an adjacent county and a tornado watch for the region.

13. Certainly is
I think I'm going to the first floor.

Too much wind and hail.

Even the cats are getting agitated.

9. Hunker down.
:hi:

I was just out with the dog and saw the flashing green glow of a transformer about to blow. Wind's howling here too, but the rain has stopped falling. It's getting floodier and floodier around here.

How ya feeling?

20. Is everything all right now?
I can empathize about horrible storms. I'm in tornado
alley and I can't sleep when it's going on and the
anxiety is terrible. Are you okay?

21. I think I got to sleep at 6am
Lots and lots of large limbs down, but they all managed to miss the cars. :-)

It was wild. I really expected to see parts of the roof on the ground this morning. :(

22. My power went out overnight
Just long enough to knock all the clocks off including my alarm clock. So, I was late for work today. It was pouring buckets of rain when I went to bed and there are flood warnings all over the place. Luckily I'm on pretty high ground.

Glad you survived.

24. Wind's still strong in WNY, late afternoon
Forecast was that it would die down by noon, but it's still going strong several hours later than that. How am I going to put out the garbage, recycling, and tree? Humph.

I think it's going longer than expected because it started later than expected last night. I heard the wind was going to start at midnight, but we jumped out of bed around 3:00 instead, when the wind started howling at our west-facing bedroom window, which leaks, and it made the blinds buzz really loud. Mr. MG thought his work beeper was going off. Hee.

Anyway, lots of trees and limbs down, but we haven't lost power. I saw a line down by my mom's, though, and apparently it's going on and off intermittently all over the area. Weird, weird weather.
