1. My sister did
when she had the time when grandkids were babies.

She's way more conventional and conservative than me though.

3. I loathe him.
And I don't say that about too many people.

4. Do we have to confess if we watched him once?
5 years ago I was in a hospital outpatient surgery unit waiting room reading until the surgeon came out to tell me that my husband's rotator cuff surgery was finished. The place was packed (a totally unrelated question - do hospitals do any surgery these days that isn't on an outpatient basis?) and the only seat I could find was by the, at the time, non-functioning television. About two hours after I got there several members of a waiting family were called up by the receptionist and directed to the recovery area, thus leaving 2 seats vacant in the tv area. A woman and her friend (or relative, I don't know and frankly didn't care to ask) immediately grabbed the seats, put coats on them and went up to the reception desk to ask about turning the tv on. I know this because they asked in voices loud enough to be heard without mechanical amplification at least 3 blocks away. The receptionist agreed and turned it on. The women then asked for a specific channel, and there, bloviating not more than 6 feet from where I was sitting was good ol' Dr. Phil. They returned to their seats with looks of contentment not usually seen in public except on feeding babies. I looked around in desperation for a seat further away, but there were none. So, for 15 very long minutes, minutes of my life which I will never recover mind you, I tried to concentrate on my book over that schmuck's voice. Then a miracle occurred (caution: gratis reference to Greg Larson cartoon ahead: no I don't have to be more specific about that part, because it was a freakin' miracle) and my name was called by the receptionist to hie myself hence to the recovery room. Rarely have I been happier to see to see a post-operative surgical patient as I was to see my husband - and no Dr. Phil was allowed in the recovery area.

7. Hmmmpf!
Thankfully I'm at work when his show airs and thankfully not able to watch. For some reason, while everything stops in our office every 4 years for the World Cup, somehow it just doesn't do the same for that man's program. For which I am eternally grateful let me tell you. :applause:
