Movies that make you cry *more than* "We are Marshall"
WOW We watched this over the weekend. I don't think it was just due to some really really close ties that I have to Marshall and the plane crash (okay not that close) and to this movie (I know someone in it) but good LORD I was crying like a Republican on her wedding night. It was a really fine movie too.

9. "E.T. " - but I haven't seen "We are Marshall" and probably won't
I've read a review, and I'd be depressed for days after seeing it.

11. I wouldn't say that it was depressing
it was just a real tear jerker.

10. Marshall Grad here.
Grew up in Huntington. That plane crash still resonates in this community.

Huntington, you see, is just a town. Not a city.

Home to the finest, friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure to meet.

Ummm. Everybody has a connection to the plane crash. One way or another.

I coach football, and have for the past 19 years, with a member of the 1971 "Young Thundering Herd".

My High School English Teacher was a cheerleader in 1971. Luckily, they didn't make the trip on the plane.

The movie is very well done.

And it's hard for a lot of us to watch.
