Ultimate Party Songs. Need Help!
My mom is throwing my sis and I a 30th b-day party next month. She hired a DJ and we are trying to compile a song list. I am looking for the ultimate party songs.

What I am searching for are songs like

"Sweet Caroline", yes I love this song despite the origin of the Caroline the song is about!

"Come on Eileen"

"Oh, What a night"

Songs like that.

So help me out and let's make my party a rockin' affair!

:bounce: :hi:

2. Beautiful Day is a great song.
The other ones not so much. People always say I have terrible taste in music!

Yeah, we are kind of looking for those cheesy dance songs that are fun to dance with when all drunk up! :) We like to get silly stupid and rock out!

How did two 30 year olds ever even learn of those songs?
If you like those songs, you might like some Billy Joel songs too.

10. These might work (if they're not too hard rock!)
Aerosmith - "Dude Looks Like A Lady"
Boston - 'Smokin'", "Party"
Def Leppard - "Let It Roll"
Collective Soul - "Gel"
Nazareth - "Hair of the Dog"
Donny Iris - "Love Is Like A Rock"
Queen - "Tie Your Mother Down"
Slade - "Run Runaway"
Styx - "Midnite Ride"
Trooper - "Raise A Little Hell"
Right Said Fred - "Too Sexy"

I see you mentioned "Oh, What a Night". If you referring to April Wine's "Oowatanite", that's a good one too.
Have a super 30th! If I try real hard, I can sorta remember mine back in '88! :toast: :headbang: :headbang:  :toast: :hippie:

Then there were some Queen songs, including "We are The Champions", which was the theme song for my graduating class. I know that dates me badly.

My choices would (really) be influenced by whether or not the guests will be consuming alcohol. Pick some good stuff to get things going. After a while, it won't matter, and everybody will have a good time anyway.
