the media has no interest in vetting out the truth...

all they are about is ratings...

if it bleeds, it leads etc.

it's all a big show, pro wrestling is about as staged as debates are maybe less so.

fuck them

3. Once the suits decided that news shows need to make a profit, too
the country went to hell.

In the old days, the news shows were supported by the other programming on the networks. But then, in the late 70s/early 80s or thereabouts, the networks decided that losing money on the news - for the sole, fucking stupid reason of giving people the truth about what's happening in the world - was a bad thing and that they should be making a profit, we stopped having news.


Thank God for the BBC.

Imagine if we could get a debate run by the BBC or Al- Jazeera or other foreign news station - the candidates would be fucking hemming and hawing and look like the useless fucking fools that they are.

hell Jon Stewart has more real news than fucking network or cable news anymore

5. Damn straight!
Jon Stewart's show may be a comedy show but there's more truth put in that half hour than there is put into 24 hours of CNN/Fox/MSNBC/whatever.
