My dog stole a bulb of garlic
Edited on Wed Jan-16-08 11:17 AM by MonkeyFunk
I had a bowl on the kitchen table with two giant bulbs in it. I noticed one was missing - I thought "hmm... I don't remember using one"

I found it in the dog's house. He didn't seem to eat much of it. Just stole it.

3. My dog stole a whole cooked chicken off of the counter a couple of weeks ago.
All we found in the yard were the bones.

4. heheh
my last dog was a total thief. He'd steal stuff that had no value to him - he just liked taking things. Once I saw him walking through the house with a dinner plate he'd stolen off the rack.

I'd come home from work and check his house - on any given day there'd be a kitchen spoon, a jar of peanut butter and a book.

He was sweet, but a no-goodnik.

5. Our dog Buddy, is a scavenger...he will eat anything!
We got him from our local shelter...he was found on the street so we don't know his history. Believe me, we feed him well, but he will steal any food he thinks he can get away with.

Here is Buddy with my kids, Daniel and Leah:

8. That's what we think Buddy is -- shepherd / golden retriever mix.
Edited on Wed Jan-16-08 12:12 PM by driver8
He looks like a shepherd but has more of a Golden Retriever personality. He loves everyone and thinks everyone should love him, too!

18. HAH!
I remember when I first successfully baked my first loaves of bread. They were cooling on the counter and I was so proud. I went to answer the phone and when I got back they were gone and my dog had crumbs on his face.

6. raw garlic is poisonous to dogs
keep an eye on him

I add garlic to my dog's food but I cook it first, it helps keep the fleas away

Years ago, my roommate brought home a cat who used to steal her underwear. It was very funny.

14. I live in a house with 5 dogs
We've got 1 who will eat the crotches out of dirty laundry. Another one who acts like the lunchroom bully and goes around intimidating the other dogs to hand over their treats. Yet another who somehow manages to eat any loaf of bread that's not immediately returned to a cupboard. I could go on. It's insane but god I love the whole lot of them.

22. My dog ate them.
When our daughter was 2 or 3, our German Shepherd would eat one of her socks. We'd find it in a pile of poop in the back yard a day or so later.
Hell of a dog.
