I'm not sure how much heating oil I have left - the guy said the amount I got would last a month, and it's been about that long, but I've been attempting to be conservative about using it. We have two space heaters, but the one out here in the LR is not so good..brrrrrrrrrr.

I can't afford to pay my insurance premium ($485)and buy more oil too. I have to pay it by Friday or they cancel my policy, which the state of NC then charges me an extra $100 for not being covered, even one day. It's supposed to snow tonight and tommorrow, so I'm trying not to use the heat at all today, despite it being in the 30s.

And we better pray that the electricity dosen't go out, because I also could not afford the propane for the gas logs in the fireplace. They wanted the same amount for the propane as the heating oil - $3.60/gal.

Think I'll go turn the oven on.
