I am now at home and NOT at work. This is good.

Things I learned today:

The senior consultants at NHS Lothian don't love the junior doctors any more. The junior doctors have become a pain.

No matter how many times you reschedule a meeting, there's always someone somewhere that wants it changed JUST after you've "finalised" it. This is sufficiently true to be given a name so I'm calling it "Mack's Law".

Trousers that are slightly too short make one feel unprofessional, which leads to spelling mistakes while taking meetings.

Some people are sufficiently pedantic as to correct spelling mistakes in minutes from meetings that happened FOUR FUCKING MONTHS AGO. Yes, doctor, I am aware that things are "implemented" and not "implanted". I wish you had pointed this out at the time I wrote the mintues.

Pah.
