I FINALLY got rid of DarthVelma and GOPisEvil

Our party last night is now over... as of 3:03 this afternoon. So I'm thinking it was a success. Got to meet PDittie and his wife--great people, and DV, GOP, and Flush_Bush were also in attendance. Lots was drunk and we got some startling confessions from a neighborhood woman about shaving various parts of her and her husband's bodies (hm, maybe she doesn't like Bush ;) ).

GOPisEvil makes a great bartender, btw.

Oh, and we gossipped about all of ya'll a lot, too. :evilgrin:

3. I'm sorry I could not attend

I have missed the last few get togethers and I feel bad, but I have been hustling to try and finish my first dissertation chapter. It is all proceeding very slowly. It's not like the old days in college when I could bang out a 10 page paper in one night.

That's why I gave up on mine after 40-odd pages. (I had a newborn at the time, too, and couldn't be bothered).

Good luck with it! They take a lot of determination. But, if you never have fun, you're going to resent it, so try to keep some kind of balance.
