I lost my voice.

I've been sick since last Monday, my voice has been getting more and more hoarse, and now today it is but a raspy squeak. x(

Which is very helpful when your job consists of talking on the phone all day. :eyes:

The latest strain of the hacking crud knocked me on my butt and murdered my throat - everyone who's been talking to me today has either threatened to throw me in quarantine or gave me the line "Luke, I am your father!" after hearing me try to talk.

Man am I glad I don't work in a call center anymore. I remember several people at the place I used to work trying to take calls with laryngitis.

12. Yeah, the phone is evil.

I work with my older brother, all day today he was like, "what's that? I can't hear you, could you speak up?"

I told (read: whispered very threateningly!) him that even though I don't have my voice I do finally feel better and I would kick his ass if he kept it up.. he doesn't seem very scared though. :shrug:
