A coworker recently sought to purchase the vacant lot next to his home, but ultimately he was outbid by another buyer. All's fair and all that, right?

Well, here's a more or less exact quote of his description of the process:

"I was beat out by an interracial... Well, not interracial. A Chinese guy and a homo sapien."
