Why the original BASIC programming language is no longer popular.

You might think that people who have little money might be attracted by the opportunity to buy an old, used computer with the original Microsoft BASIC interpreter running on it.

However, maybe they just can't deal with the feeling -- when reading and writing programs -- that they are being shouted at and are themselves shouting. You know, it was all capitals.

To hide your intellectual property, use the command line option:

OK> FOR I=1 TO 100000: PRINT "BASIC SUCKS";: NEXT I

BASIC. Such a weak program that a seven year-old girl with virtually no math skills can operate it.
