Am I bad to like the Jimmy Dean breakfast combo commercials?
Edited on Sun Jan-20-08 07:05 PM by CTyankee
I'm sorry, but I just love the Jimmy Dean commercials. You know, the one with the sun, the moon, the cloud and the rainbow. Also the sun's skeptical little girl who wrinkles her nose when he says he has to "light and warm the earth."

I actually went out and bought one of the Dean products, a mix of eggs, cheese and potatoes (maybe sausage too). It was over 500 calories listed on the box! I was shocked. No more Jimmy Dean products. But I could see why people would be enticed to buy them.

2. I don't know what commercial you are talking about. But I started
buying the vegetarian sausage links and they are really good. I don't do well with vegetarian burgers, maybe because they taste too much not like burgers but the sausage has so many spices in it you don't notice.

My 2 cents.

3. I love those commericals. Did you ever go to their website?
They have "documentary" footage not seen on TV. I just love those ads!

6. Thanks for the positive feedback! Actually, I don't eat their products (except for my one try)
so I am not exactly their poster girl! However, I admire their ad copy writers and their actors. They are all so talented (the convincing, nice Sun, the cool but approachable moon, the Sun's disbelieving daughter, the unconfident rainbow, and the schlumpy cloud with his nerdy wrist watch. They are very cool to watch!

5. I won't eat Jimmy Dean products. Not after...
...I found a tiny piece of mangled Porsche in one of his sausage patties.
