4. .

Well, I prefer relationships over empty flings...

That aside, the case quality is said to be questionable; but my TOS cases aren't so bad and they're said to be the same...

9. Well.........
I've seen em all.............about 50 or 60 good eps.. beats me...

That is 5 dollars per good ep. But doesn't count the time spent watching the bad eps. WELL are you going to watch all of them? Do you need to have em?
....Let's see, how many ep? about 130 all told? Good luck.. You could buy a lot of stuff with that money...See thread on clutter. :bounce: ....p.s. I am a Star Trek Fan..I have em all on tape.. and I have watched maybe 3 or 4 of the eps since next gen went off.

10. Nobody always reads the books in their library...
But given the rarity of some of the books, it's nice to have them...

I'll see the clutter thread asap.

2. It's hella cheaper than what they cost when they came out -

it's disappointing that Paramount has done such a shitty job with the TNG DVDs - no extras, nothing of any real interest. Bare bones, no bonus anything crap production.

I hope some day they will do a real version - and I have a feeling that, now that they've lowered the price and are packaging it into one big unit, that means that they're getting ready for a new version.

Paramount seems to love to screw their customers, especially the Trekkie fan base, in every which way they can. I don't know of any other company or franchise (and not just talking TV here...) that makes as much money off their loyal customers as Paramount and that proportionally treats them with such contempt and disregard, as Paramount does.

3. Worth it? It depends entirely on THREE things.
1. How honest are you?
2. How much time do you have on your hands?
3. Are you familiar with Usenet?

5. Depends what's in the package.
You can buy the seven individual season boxed sets for $225 from Amazon, too. What does the extra $75 get you?

8. At $50~$60 each season, it adds up being more...

The other vendors are used or are imports, with subtitles and other shit. :)

Never mind up to 7 separate shipping sources; net cost wouldn't be much different...

11. OK, I just noticed that. The $225 set...
...is an import from China with "minimal Asian writing on the box." In that case, $300 doesn't look too bad compare to the $350 or so other vendors are asking.
