Is it silly to be giddy over purchasing new home office furniture?
I've been hatin' on my computer table for quite some time (two levels but no drawers, so all my papers and stuff are falling all over the place all the time--makes me a little fritzy, if you know what I mean). So even though I really shouldn't put anything else on the charge card, I bought this thingamajig.

It looks better than the monstrosity I have now (and will look good in the living room, where my computer table resides), will nicely accommodate my iBoob, and will hide all my flotsam and jetsam (I do so love the file slots)--all in a much smaller footprint, which will leave more floor space for MG Jr. to fill with toys. The only thing I need to find a home for is the printer. But I can deal with that if it means new "some assembly required" MDF-in-a-box arriving on my doorstep any day now!

Plus it was on sale!

So...is it a sickness?

1. I always get really excited when I order new furniture of any kind.
It's really nice, MG, and it does have a very small footprint!

:bounce:

2. Hee--I suppose I should note
that I did NOT purchase it today to make myself feel better about my miserable Monday morning! I ordered it over the weekend, and I find myself gazing adoringly at the page ripped out of the catalog. There's gotta be at least a little something wrong, there...

P.S.: Talked to Mr. MG about this morning's unfortunate event, and he reminded me that the woman in question is crazy. (He should know--he worked for her for a year.)

5. Oooo, that would have been a really expensive thing to do...
to make yourself feel better! Chocolate is much cheaper!

(...but then there's that pesky diet thing. x()

6. A bit of chocolate is definitely NOT out of the question, I must admit
Sometimes you've just gotta tell the diet-police-fairy to mind her own business!

4. Chairs are major
So many...and so many uncomfortable ones. Mr. MG asked for a new office chair for Christmas, but I didn't dare buy one FOR him. It's a really personal decision!
