My day always starts off GREAT!

Every morning, my two kids--our daughter, 4, and our son, 5 1/2--come into our room and crawl into bed with us to snuggle. I try to appreciate every second of that, because I know these days will be history all too soon. If I've learned anything from parents with older children, it is that. I'd like to pass on that wisdon. :-)

I guess it's my impression that for most of us, these 'early years' seem to go by so quickly. But I do look forward to the later stages too, when I can share interests with my children in a more in-depth way, and see what kind of people they become. I'm sure it will be interesting anyway. I just hope they don't put me through the hell that I put my parents through.

Coming home with a different broken bone, or assortment thereof, several times a year for years on end, disappearing for weeks and months at a time...not going to college after getting accepted by Harvard (really!) because I wanted to start my own business instead at the age of 17...

Yeesh. I wasn't a very good kid.

8. Ha! that would have been a good one for me but no, it was opening a jewelry store,

because I had started making jewelry about a year before. And I got annoyed that no stores I approached would sell my stuff because I was young (they didn't take me seriously, even after seeing my work), so I said "Fuck 'em, I'll do it myself."

And did reasonably well at doing so.

10. No, actually, it's my name. I can see why you'd ask that, but I stopped making jewelry

many, many years ago. You need sharp eyes and steady hands to do that, neither of which I have anymore.

He hasn't been doing it all that long, but he's GOOD.

My mom sold SW indian jewelry in France for about 10 years. My aunt lives in NM and purchased from local sellers and my mom resold it in France. Not much of a money-maker though, too much French beauraucracy. I'll check out your suggestion.
