1. I didn't, but both of my kids got the "nasal vaccine" - luckily neither felt bad after getting it
(and neither have gotten the flu, yet).

Hope you're not feeling bad.

Tim

2. We got ours in early November. Audio Al had no reaction.
I got a reddish bump on my arm. You know what? I think the bump was from the shingles vaccine. We got the flu, shingles, and updated out diptheria-tetanus shot after ten years.

So it was three-for-one. I didn't feel well for about 1/2 day (sleepy in the morning) but that was it.

Hope you're OK. (Good news is that we haven't had the flu. Just a lot of trouble from one tooth, not related.)

Rest and drink water if you have to. Lots of people have subtle reactions to vaccines, but they are better than getting the disease.

:hi:

3. I didn't.
And I've been feeling like triple crap since Christmas day. I apparently have managed to acquire not only the influenza virus, but also an adenovirus, and have had the worst of both: headache, cough, sore throat, muscle aches, fever. I would've been happy to feel mildly crappy from the vaccine if I could have avoided this. So, if your question is whether or not to get the shot, my advice is yes, do it. From now on, I am going to get it every year.

4. No, definitely get the shot if you can!! Having the flu sucks majorly!!
I just wasn't sure if it was the shot that made me feel like crap or just me being in the early and nauseous stages of pregnancy!!

14. I got one in November
I don't think it made me sick though.

My late grandmother got sick off one twelve years ago. She was pretty sick at the time, though, and probably wasn't strong enough for a flu shot.

16. Yes (and I've given plenty too)
The first year I got one I felt like crap- like a mini-flu. Now, I just feel a little achey in the arm for 2-3 days. I tell patients when I give them that they may feel a little achey and sore for a few days, but no it won't give you the flu. It's more of your body's immune response (which is what it's supposed to be doing) that makes you feel kind of "meh".

17. Yeah the doc said my arm would be sore and I may get a low-grade
fever from it. I think it was that mixed the nausea from being pregnant. Thanks for info!!
