It's time to tell random anecdotes of people/places/things/whatever!

Tell any random anecdote you can think of, about anyone or anything, as long as it's fairly amusing. (What the hell, even if it's depressing--I don't care. Let's roll!)

Mine is from Ian Carr's biography of Miles Davis. According to Carr, during the first session for Bitches Brew (??) in '69, Miles started the day by getting into a massive argument with his producer Teo Macero. He then spent the remaining hours of the session mouthing off at Teo sitting in the engineering booth, occasionally screaming out things such as "I'm going to get you, you motherfucking bastard!!" and similar Milesian obscenities--100% over the top, pure outrage and anger. His behavior was so outrageous the musicians were on constant alert, making Teo and Carr suspect that it was put on to try to force his musicians to play with more urgency and spontaneity, and they believe it was successful. :)
