I'm implementing an ad hoc slashdot-style of rating crap in GD and GDP

just a simple +1 or -1 in the reply title and nothing more, will do. Of course, you can add to the reply, but a +1 or -1 would balance out the recs from the fanboys supporting whomever the post benefits.

I think, but could be wrong, that someone else has tried to implement something similar. I don't know. Nevertheless I'm trying it, I hope some of you will join me. It's time we let approval or disapproval known without having messages deleted, or having to rely on recommending something so insanely stupid while hoping that people will recognize that the hugh number of recommendations is because the post is so dumb.

I wish there were an anti-recommend button. When I posted that suggestion on one of these candidate jerk-off posts, a certain somebody who's fart-sniffing blowharding always lands on the greatest page got pissy with me... can't imagine if I'd said the same thing about one of their crap posts.... maybe their head would have exploded - next time I'll just give a -1.
