Well, I finally finished putting together all the storage cabinets for my loft.

I got a good deal on them, now I can take everything out of the boxes and store them in cabinets.

Some of the stuff is going, some I am keeping.

I forget I had some of this stuff.

My loft is coming together.

Clean, neat and organized.

come do my house next :bounce: (I married Mr. Debi and moved in in 1996 - still haven't unpacked some of the boxes!)

2. I never had the space to unpack before and had boxes at different peoples houses.

Some of it is stuff from my Grandparents and Aunt.

I did find my Grandmothers old cookie cutters,and favorite cooking bowl.

Stuff like that.

Now I have the space to put things.

5. LOL! We purchased our last house in 93...

and when we sold it and bought our current home in '98 we still had boxes in the basement that we hadn't unpacked. I had Mr. Youthere just take them straight to the dump. I figured if I hadn't missed the stuff in 5 years, I didn't need it.

7. Yeah - I finally had to tear through some of them for Debi, Jr.'s graduation party

but don't know why I'll need anything from here on out. Should just have a big bonfire in the back of our property and be done w/it.

8. I almost did that but I was looking for my Grandparents and Aunts stuff.

Plus I was looking for some video tapes of friends who had passed away.

I have 17 good size boxes on the floor, I have no idea what is in them.

It is good to clean house of every few years and sort things out.

I have two big plastic storage boxes of drinking glasses I used to collect, I don't why I did that.

6. No, but I going next week.

Running out of winter fast, with early voting coming up it will be spring before I get to the beach again.

Early voting will be fun with this being primary.

We get to ask Republicans if they Democrats or Republicans, that will makes some of them mad.


I have a few more weekends yet.

I just wanted this weekend to finish up, tired of looking a boxes and boxes of stuff.

i've been in my place for more that 2 1/2 years and i just got the last of the boxes taken care of

11. The 17 boxes are looking at me,

I think they are the last boxes.

When I went into the Army I packed up and spread the boxes around for safe keeping.

I had my stuff and my Grandparens and Aunts stuff.

It was a lot of stuff.

I am looking at my Grandmother' s favorite cooking bowl, so glad I found it again.

Now if can just find the salt bowl and cookie jar, that would make my day.


I don't know where to look anymore if they are not in these boxes.

9. I will tell you a secret.

The only way to get started is to just start, somewhere.

That is what I did.

I have gotten rid of a lot things now, a lot of the stuff I gave away to people who can use it.

Make three piles, what to keep, what to give away, and one pile for a second sorting.

I just got tired of not finding what I wanted.

I am getting organized.

It is really a nice way to live.
