My youngest cat has no idea that *I* fill her bowl
My other two cats will bang the bowl around, then come and annoy me if their food bowl is empty.

But the little one - she just sits in front of the bowl, staring at it. She'll do it for an hour. Then I see her there, grab the food, and fill it right in front of her face.

And a couple days later, I'll find her sitting there, staring forlornly at her empty bowl. It's a good thing she's cute.

2. She will learn.
My young cat will not eat if she can see the bottom the bowl.

Even if there is food in the bowl.

Cats are funny.

10. hey
isn't that what Texans say to retarded kids?

Well, I guess it's fitting. She's not much of a cat, really. Just sort of a fluffy sleepy thing.

She's only ever hunted once. She came in making a sound I'd never heard before - but recognized from my other cats. I knew she'd caught something. "Oh, what fresh hell is this?" I asked as I went to find her, wondering if it was a bloody mouse, a flapping bird, whatever.

She had an earthworm in her mouth. And she was so proud.

8. well she IS the laziest cat I've ever seen
and I've seen lazy cats.

She will stay in one spot ALL day. The two boys wander around, play, use the scratcher, etc. Not the girl. My BF took her to bed with him last night around 11:00. I stayed up a bit. Around 1:00, he got up and decided to drive home cuz he has to work in the AM (he keeps an apartment right near work) and it was supposed to rain. He told me she was in there.

I forgot. I fell asleep on the couch. All morning I've been puttering around, reading the 'net, etc. Around 11:00am I wondered where she was. Then I remembered.

Ran in there, she was perfectly, contentedly asleep on the bed. 12 hours she was in there. Never meowed, never complained - it never occurred to her to wake up.

7. Her empty bowl mocks her.
:)

My little Tabitha kitty is deaf and sort of fat and yells really loudly when her dish is empty (she can't hear herself yowling, bless her little tabby heart!)

9. haha... that is awesome
my oldest cat is pretty sure he can Stare things into existence or at least to do his bidding, and sadly he has me trained to the point that it sometimes works, such as when he stares at the door or the bathtub and I eventually just open it for him or turn on the water trickle or whatever. He stares me awake in the morning sometimes too.
