2. Oh, sorry. The emergency closing center list is the longest
I have ever seen. Be safe! Cheers.

5. I trudged through a foot of snow for 2 blocks
to get to the red-line this am. What usually takes a less than a minute took around 20. My pants are still wet up to my knees x(

6. I'm at work. City streets were okay but once I got into Lincolnwood it was total
chaos. Maude I hate my job.

16. Thanks. I'm still here and it's going to take forever to get home.
I hope you had a nice day off though.

9. Hey, I'm at work right now.
I slogged five blocks in the snow to make the train this morning, too, filling my shows with slush in the process. How much bullshit is that? x(

15. Well, I'm letting my socks dry out now.
There's no policy against bare feet in this office, as long as they don't stink. :P

14. It's worse than I thought.
A Waste Management computer just called and said that trash pickup has been delayed until tomorrow. Regards, Mugu

17. I took a vacation day today.
Took me two hours to drive 12 miles last night, figured it'd be the same or more getting to work this morning. I live on a fairly busy street and it had not been touched at the time I needed to leave, and there were cars slipping and sliding all over the place. Went back to bed for a while.

18. HI! Good to "see" you! Oh, last night was crazy! I get "best mom"
award for driving my daughter to her boyfriend's basketball game in white out conditions. Granted, it was on the way home anyway.... Here's to a day of calm at home!

20. I've never heard of so many schools being closed.
Nor had my sister, who is a principal and closed hers. Much to their chagrin, the triplets did have school today. :hi:
