I'm still recovering from my lotus flower about six months ago (which reminds me, *I* need to get a pic taken of the actual tattoo).

It was the biggest one I've gotten to date, though--the thing's about 4" x 6" of solid ink.

The funniest thing was my mom--who to this day does not know I have tattoos, and would be horrified to learn I do--calling as I was walking out of the tattoo studio, and indignantly telling me "well, you're certainly in a pissy mood!" Couldn't tell her why, but I was like "oh, yes....yes, I am..."

That is the seat of our energy in kundalini yoga (and it's a meaningful place in other belief systems, too) and so that is where I am getting my first tat and THAT'S THAT!

Unless I find out about an equally cool-seeming place to get it... heh.
