3. don't you wash behind your ears, young man?!?!?

Lol. I find, unfortunately, that sometimes if hair conditioner isn't completely rinsed out, it can irritate my skin. You can put a warm washcloth on the zit and usually that will allow it to open/drain.

5. do you have oily skin, or oily hair (the two usually go together)?

If so, that's why. Ain't no escape; believe me, I know.

I hope the pain goes away soon. At least it isn't in a very visible location (unless you have really short hair?)!

7. LOL...Here's how long my hair is.....so my ears are exposed.
And I don't know how anyone can see it unless a weirdo decides to fold back my ear at the grocery store or something.

Fortunately, after years of therapy I am able to control my ear-folding tendencies.

10. I've had those
Edited on Sat Feb-02-08 04:00 PM by FloridaJudy
They're more like boils than pimples. Use warm soaks and smear it with antibiotic ointment. Squeezing it could make it worse, so resist (even though it's soooooo tempting).

BTW, Walgreens now sells these "pimple zappers" that are supposed to heal them in 24 hours. They're pricey, but might be worth it if you have frequent outbreaks and if they work. I'd never seen them before: has anyone here every used one? Do they live up to their claims?

12. That's the thing that's so weird is I don't have frequent
outbreaks on the back tip of my fricken ear.

And it's one of those kinda internal one that you can't do anything about.

Sigh.

At least, if it's not the usual pain of Crohn's (I can almost block that out). Anything unexpected though?

Fuhgetabout it. Demerol. Right there with you.

29. Oh, I hate that!
Any ear pimples seem to really hurt a lot. I suppose it's because the skin is thin and rather difficult to manipulate for popping purposes!
