I haven't been around for awhile but can anybody tell me why ads for Republicans are

showing up in other people's posts in DU? They stopped showing up after I logged in. Is there a connection?

We are testing some new ad placements. For the moment, they only appear when you are not logged in.

Someone else said that they saw an ad for a Republican candidate too. It bothered me at first but I have to agree with Skinner. They are paying to put ads where it won't do much good and they are helping to keep DU up and running. Let's have some ads for McCain too!
