I have seen lambs at slaughter.

I am not kidding. I have been there.

They are totally silent. Not a peep comes out.

Because, when they slit their throats, the vocal cords become useless.

I have seen lambs at slaughter.

And there is no sound.

Only the silent tears, falling from surprised eyes.

Only the silent tears of the innocent...

3. That's why the movie was ruined for me
The director had not a clue what lambs to slaughter means.

Silence of the lambs had meaning to me, but the explanation in the movie made no sense...
