15. Very poor sportsmanship
You should always shake hands. Even my 6 year old nephew knows that.

44. he did shake hands, just for the record
everybody (all the giants, too) was out on the field thinking the game was over, and he and Coughlin embraced. Then they cleared the field and the Giants had to run one more play, but he was on his way to the locker room and didn't head back.

4. Almost everyone thought it was over, but then 1 second was put back on the clock
so they had to clear the field and do one more play. By that time Belichick had gone into the tunnel. I still don't know why they put that 1 second back on the clock.

24. Thanks - I guess I heard wrong. I thought I read that
Belichik was fined $500,000 and the team was fined $250,000 for that spying thing.

38. If roles were reversed, the Giants would have challenged.
Still not sure why you think that was classless; looked like a heads up call by the Pats.

Either team in that situation would have challenged, and obviously rightly so.

Looks like he ENTIRELY underestimated the NY Giants.

My wife is thrilled that NYG won (She is from Brooklyn), and is already bothering her brother to order Super Bowl goodies for us.

28. I don't think he underestimated them.
They played a tough game against them the last regular season game. Every press conference I see of him he always comments that they still have a lot of work to do as a team.

I just heard his interview. He's all pissed off, and while he has a right to be, dude, it's just American Football. Get over yourself. If they fire you after a perfect season and the luck of another team, they're assholes.

45. It was a totally unprofessional thing to do.
His team knew they had to go back on the field for another play but the coach just left. An immature coach showing a total lack of class. Quite the example for his team.

If the game's not over, the Patriots don't officially lose.
