7. There was a game?

I slept through it, and it sounds as if I was fortunate. I came home hot and sweaty from the Medieval Faire, and feel as if I'm coming down with a cold, so I ate some spicy chicken and took a looooong nap.

I wake up to find the lounge has imploded over a freaking football game. I have no idea what happened, and from the looks of the locked threads, I expect I'm lucky that way.

Now can we all discuss something non-controversial like - say - Religion or Politics?

I come here to get away from the acrimonious crap. I had a hell day dealing with a friend and her teenage daughter and trying, for some stupid reason, to help them through some bullshit troubles they are having, and I'm just fed up with the bullshit.

So I came here to detox.

And some of the threads ... one in particular ... I have lost all respect for certain people I formerly respected a great deal.

Must find hole now in which to hide.
