And btw, when will they finally call them the New Jersey Giants?
Seriously, their home stadium is the Meadowlands in NEW JERSEY and yet they're still called the New York Giants. I remember being at Live Earth and all the musicians would cry out "HELLO NEW YORK" and all I could think was 'You need to face the other direction and yell a bit louder since you're standing in fucking New Jersey' (Ok Bon Jovi did get that right - but then again he is from New Jersey.

So my question is this - when the Governors made their bet who made it for the Giants? Corzine or Spitzer?

1. OMG -- you sound like Haruka
We were watching Live Earth on TV, and every time the supertitle would say, "New YOrk," she'd scream,"IT'S NEW JERSEY!!!"

2. I was at Live Earth and we screamed the same thing
If Corzine had a set of balls on him he'd claim ownership of that team and the Jets too (any other New York team playing in Jersey).

9. I have a feeling that New Jersey would be willing to give the Jets back to New York
Or any state that feels so inclined to have their named slapped on a team

5. Well the WASHINGTON Redskins ....
Play in Landover, MD and have their main facilities in Ashburn Virginia. They never even step into the city AT ALL.

6. Well, until recently they did play in RFK (in DC) and
Snyder is talking about moving them back into DC.

ZOMG! I actually said something complementary about Snyder and the SKINS!
