DUers, I have a confession. I cried recently--and I'm a guy!

Last year I attended a reunion and saw an old, old, old friend. I hadn't seen her in over three decades, but I remembered her all those years. I remembered her as a good friend--when we were in high school, we chatted on the phone and I stopped by her house for to visit a few times. We were never "boyfriend/girlfriend" but just really good friends.

Well, I saw her and my life lit up--:D

We talked briefly, until she asked me for my last name--:(

I told her and then said "goodbye." Man, that was the loooooongest trip back home!--:cry:

I feel like I lost a good friend.

And not only that, I lost that good friend over 30 years ago and didn't know it!

It was so obvious I remember much more about her than she did me!

Now I'm depressed...again!
