I took a very strange call this morning

I'm filling in on phones this morning and I just took the weirdest call. It went like this:

ME: Good Morning, .

HIM: (hearty, jolly voice) How you doin' today?

ME: Fine, thank you.

HIM: How's the weather up there in Michigan?

ME: It's a little sloppy.

HIM: It's cold down here in Texas.

ME: That's too bad.

HIM: So cold, I had to bring my horse into the house last night.

ME: (rolling eyes and mentally sighing) Yes, that is cold.

HIM: Yep, made her sleep on the couch so the horse could have the bed.

ME: (rolling eyes so far back they nearly get stuck in my head) My goodness. What can
we do for you today?

HIM: Well, you sound like you're busy. I'll call you back when you're not. Bye, sweetie.
