2. Isn't that how most of the mail order wine companies send it?

I know I wouldn't, because I've seen how my local FedEx guys just throw packages over the balcony walls/railings of the apartments around here. Even up to the second floor, so they don't have to tire their little legs climbing stairs.

I always check which courier is used by any company I might buy from online. If it's FedEx, I limit myself to purchasing items sufficiently robust to survive handling by gorillas.
