10. 22 1/2 inch head?! You must've meant length of the body
otherwise, that's positively freakish. :D shinegirl was 9 lbs 6oz, with about a 13 inch head. Natural birth, no pain meds. Ya don't forget THAT in a hurry! :eyes:

The memories just do not go away. The almost 10 pounder was my son. My daughter was only 7 pounds 14 ounces. My labor with her was FAR worse (was not progressing so we did the pitocin, and I ended up having an epidural).

24. you and I have a lot in common, it always amazes me
except it was a bit backwards from your experience b/c my first born son was the worst: 24+hr labor, 17 hrs on pitocin followed by an epidural. Thank god for meds in that case! He was 8lbs 14 oz, thank you very much. I'm soooo done. :D

26. I'd call it self-made episiotomy
I told my kid every time I saw his head it reminded me of giving birth....I forget how big his head was (and it was a big'un, he was close to 9 lb.).. along with a 3rd degree tear... That is why the kid will be the only bio-child....
