You might have Fibromyalgia. I hope you don't, because they don't really know what causes it... and many doctors even deny its existence. I've done a lot of reading on the subject (on FM) and there are theories that it can begin after a trauma (like a car accident). Hope they figure out what is, in your case, that causes your pain(s) soon and you find a way to manage so your life is not impacted too greatly. :hug:

6. I looked that up

For three days I had a headache, muscle and joint pain plus feeling like I hadn't slept. Just like with the flu. Not sure what got ahold of me but the symptoms sounded just like Fibromyalgia.

7. My sister, the nurse, said a lot of doctors call it...

"a waste basket diagnosis." Which means, doctors often diagnosis a person with Fibromyalgia when they can't find anything else (with the symptoms listed, of course).

I'm not a worrier or a hypochondriac but I was getting worried when I woke up the second day and still had a very bad headache. I'm 45 years old and maybe twice in my lifetime I can remember having one that bad and never did a headache even last an entire day before.
