This is the headline some idiot put on an article: "McCain Seeks to Sausage Wary Conservatives"
It wasn't until about the tenth post that someone questioned whether he meant to say "assuage." These people are so stupid it makes my head hurt.
I had not endured that pit of stupidity for several months, but if you can believe what they are saying a very large majority won't vote for McCain. Of course we have similarly misguided people at DU, but their hatred of McCain is much worse than what I'm seeing here from the most fanatical non-supporters of Clinton or Obama.

as in "packing in disparate elements together" like using "sandwich" but I'd guess it's an informal usage. It's more likely they are casting asparagus.
