Is there a more annoying sound than a snowblower?

We get an inch of snow and the snowblowers buzz away for hours. Geez, it's faster to just shovel the crap.

Which my neighbors apparently don't mind; in the spring and summer they fire it up about 7 a.m. on weekends and shut it off when the sun goes down.

After trying to get the crappy old snowblower we inherited to start. The noise is so damn annoying and it takes so long, it is quicker and less stressful to just shovel.
