He is making a commentary on the two pictures offered. He is not saying that all women are either or.
I have had plenty of conversations with friends about what I find attractive to men, but does that mean I think men are only good for one thing? No.

The point is that these opinions aren't come to in a vacuum. Society ties women's worth as people into whether or not we are "fuckable" according to a narrow set of standards, and the consensus of this thread seems to be that we should swap out one set of standards for another. No one is questioning why we are judging women's "fuckability" in the first place.

You can be pretty goddamn curvy without getting within shouting distance of a size 14. I get what you're saying, as a slim woman, about feeling annoyed by some of this. But your post is offensive. sizes 12-14-16 aren't lacking in proportion, a size 14 sure as hell isn't an unhealthy state for some, and given the wide range of people of different sizes and shapes on DU, I'd be a little more careful about how you stigmatize size and weight. I know I don't do it to very slender people,and it isn't fair when done to them or larger people.

I've dieted quite a bit my whole life (5'5" here, and weight has varied from 131-200). No matter how much weight I've lost, I cannot get below a 12. When I got to 131 pounds, people told me to stop because I was starting to look sick.

I used to wear Bill Blass Jeans but they don't make them the way they used to anymore.

I'm a 12 and I've tried every pair of jeans on in four department stores. Every time the jeans fit in the hip, they were too big in the waist. Lee Jeans are cut for hippier women with a more narrow waist.

It's also difficult to find a great top, because with larger boobs, thinner waist and wider hips... the look can be frumpy if the top isn't tailored to show a smaller waistline.

It's a challenge, that only breast surgery could fix. If I had the bucks, I don't think I'd do it, but it sure would make things easier and honestly, more comfortable.

I can't get below 120 without people saying the same thing, "you look sick", etc. Everyone's body is different. I don't think the number counts. It's proportion and proper fitting that make the world of difference.

For those of us who wear larger sizes, there are a limited number of places where we can walk in and browse things in our size, or find something on the rack (and not try to order online) that is fashionable, fits well, and flatters our 'less than perfect' figures. It's normal. PERFECTLY NORMAL to find certain things more attractive than others. Most people don't base their relationships on these things.

Curves don't even mean a certain size or weight or height. You can be short and heavier or tall and more slender and still have curves.

1) outgoing personality
2) left of center politically
3) intelligent

I personally love crazy women. I've always been attracted to them, and them to me. I have had some horrible and tragic relationships in my time. Of course now I'm married to a crazy woman and everything is just fine. We are both crazy...bat shit crazy...
