2. I believe that depends upon your shower head
But in general I think showers use less water.

The shower head thing makes sense. My husband use to take them off when we first started dating. My landlord at the time raised my rent because of the increased water usage! Never thought of it at the time (young and stupid).

5. Baths, unless you shower for a long time with an old shower head.

With the newer 1.5GPM heads, a five minute shower is 7.5 gallons, while an average tub bath is 15 gallons or more. And on edit: the new restricted flow shower heads are really good at giving the illusion of providing a heavy flow of water, unlike the old ones.
